i’ve long been a fan of the world news show, which used to play at 3 pm on my local npr station in the d.c. area. i worked an early shift, 6am-3pm, so i used to catch it on my way home. unfortunately, they don’t have too many podcasts, but a new one, the world in words, has been a great find for me. it takes me back to my linguistic days at unc.

i just installed this ping.fm plugin, after reading this discussion. i’ve tried posting some stuff, but it’s not quite working out yet. let me see if i can figure that out. you should be able to see updates in the sidebar soon.
i’ve resisted using twitter up until now because i always thought it was too much information, or just information overload, and because i had enough things to manage already.
but, i have to say, now i’m seeing some value in it. using ping.fm and a twitter rss feed makes it pretty simple. so my twitter page is http://twitter.com/halffinn. feel free to follow.
