this was also an “>audiobook of war of the worlds, kind of a dramatization. and i’m really glad i did it that way, because that allowed me to get a sense of what the panic was like back in 1938.
definitely some of the technology (death rays, trains, etc) seemed quite dated, as did the attitude of the british military (carry on, old boy), but this was really a lot of fun to listen to.
