sorry if the blog was not working for most of today. i started the upgrade earlier this morning and just got to finishing it now. i upgraded wordpress to version 2.7 and the upgrade was nice and painless, and looking good.

at least the status side of it is. i’ll be testing the blogging tools soon.

i just installed this ping.fm plugin, after reading this discussion. i’ve tried posting some stuff, but it’s not quite working out yet. let me see if i can figure that out. you should be able to see updates in the sidebar soon.

the guys over at virtual worlds news interviewed me at the gdc a couple of weeks ago, and the interview is now online.

so i started using flickr last weekend because i wanted to share some photos, and have a web-based backup of my photos. i also really wanted something i could integrate into wordpress here.

flickr is really slick. the upload is nice and easy, works quickly, and tagging and permissions all worked really well. the wordpress plug-in, while not perfect, is pretty decent. but the flickr limitations on free accounts are really annoying.

i’m seriously considering switching to picasa web. any thoughts or experiences out there?

just a note that i’ll be blogging more often. i’ve got a bit more time at the moment, and some things i feel like blogging about.
